Robert Parker’s Wine Advocate
Notions of sweet red berries, plums, spices and citrus rind introduce the 2017 Pernand-Vergelesses 1er Cru Les Vergelesses, a medium-bodied wine with a pretty core of crunchy fruit that was hard to read when I tasted it, with some dissolved carbon dioxide drying out the back end. I’m confident that it will be considerably more charming in bottle.
