Description
Clos Lentiscus Perill Noir Sumoll is a red wine made exclusively from Sumoll grapes by the Clos Lentiscus winery in Sant Pere de Ribes, Barcelona.
It is a natural wine made from Sumoll grapes that come from vines with an average age of 80 years planted on sandy-limestone soils with classic cultivation methods without pesticides or herbicides.
Elaboration
The grapes are harvested by hand. Subsequently, the grapes are destemmed and followed by a 15-day maceration process. Fermentation is carried out with indigenous yeasts with low intervention.
It is left to age for 30 months in French oak barrels.
Taste
Clos Lentiscus Perill Noir is a noble and extremely elegant wine. With fruity and floral aromas accompanied by soft toasted notes, and the fine saline hints so firmly linked to the land from which it originates.
On the palate it is fruity and very rounded, with a tannicity that is present but controlled and with great acidity, making it very stylish.
A mature and elegant wine
Clos Lentiscus Perill Noir Sumoll is a red wine produced by the Clos Lentiscus winery, which shows the full potential of the Sumol grape, a historic variety in the Penedès.
The wines of this winery are made as they were made in the olden days and from native varieties that come from vineyards facing south, on the Mediterranean Sea.
In the gastronomic field, this wine is perfect for business lunches and to accompany red meats, white meats, pasta, game and rice dishes.
