Robert Parker’s Wine Advocate
The 2016 Nuits Saint-Georges 1er Cru Aux Boudots has another very elegant and poised bouquet; blackberry, raspberry and a subtle marine influence that becomes more prominent with time in the glass. The palate is medium-bodied with slightly coarse tannin, firm and more masculine, needing more flesh and harmony to come through on the finish. Not bad, but I wager that this is not one of the domaine’s best in 2016.
