Jordi Llorens Blankaforti is a red wine made from Cabernet Sauvignon, Grenache Tinta, Parellada and Syrah by the Celler Jordi Llorens winery in Blancafort, Conca de Barberà.
The grapes used to make Jordi Llorens Blankaforti come from vineyards planted on limestone, sandstone, red marl and gypsum soils.
These vineyards are located between 400 and 600 metres above sea level and are framed by a slightly cool Mediterranean climate due to their altitude and the fact that they are 35 km from the sea.
Winemaking
The grapes are harvested by hand with semi carbonic maceration and fermentation in stainless steel tanks with indigenous yeasts.
Subsequently, the wine is aged for 6 months in stainless steel. No sulphur dioxide is added and the wine is bottled without filtering or fining.
