Robert Parker’s Wine Advocate
The 2014 Pérez Pascuas Gran Selección Gran Reserva follows the classical path of the 2010 and 2012 vintages (it’s only produced in exceptional years), really nuanced and complex, balanced and still young and even a little austere (these are never showy). The palate has terrific harmony and balance, with some restraint and with nicely integrated oak after an extended élevage of 26 months in barrique. 4,100 numbered bottles were filled in March 2017. It should age magnificently.
