Robert Parker’s Wine Advocate
The 2018 Tinto Aventura is an unoaked equal blend of Aragonez and Touriga Nacional, with 20% of others in a field blend from Portalegre, coming in at 13.3% alcohol. Spicy, light and bright, this is most of all about the purity. Made in a summer red style, this is a fruity red, for Portalegre, that can be chilled a bit. It tastes great and goes down easy. Surprisingly, Susana predicts this can last 15 years. I’d be careful doing that, personally, but in any event, I don’t think extended aging will bring many rewards. This runs around 10 euros in Portugal. It’s a nice deal.
