I found the 2016 Colección Torremilanos too oaky for my taste, exuberant and ripe, with the profile from a different oenological era. It’s a ripe, luxurious and creamy Tempranillo (with 8% other grapes) with 15% alcohol and lots of tannins after 32 months in barrel. For fans of the style. Will this ever absorb the oak? 7,088 bottles were filled in July 2019 and still very oaky.
