Robert Parker’s Wine Advocate
The super toasty, smoky, ripe and heady heavyweight (in all senses) 2015 Pesus is all about power, concentration and weight. It has abundant tannins, a lot of dry extract and a warmish finish. Fans of the style will love it in a warm year like 2015, but I find more finesse, more nuance and more classical characteristics in the Regina Vides from the same year. Some 2,000 bottles were filled in July 2017.
